Is he your refuge and your fortress?

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High
[he] shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD,
He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,
and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;
        nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side,
and ten thousand at thy right hand;
but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold
and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge,
even the Most High, thy habitation;

there shall no evil befall thee,
neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee,
to keep thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:
the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:
I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him, and honor him.

With long life will I satisfy him,
and show him my salvation.

Prayer

What does Prayer mean to you? 

• Is it personal
• Is it strength
• Is it knowing God

Prayer is all of this and much, much more.  Many people feel Prayer is only accomplished before a meal or bedtime.  Prayer is ALL THE TIME.  Speak to God, open your heart, feel everything that can be given to you through God by knowing him Personally. Just try it, you just might find so much more in life than you ever expected.

Feeling Lost & Alone?

Did you know that feeling lost and alone is nothing new?  Many of us find ourselves feeling this way in life.  Did you know that you truly are never alone, that even when you feel down God is there.  God has never left you and never will.  Even when you can't feel or see him, he has never given up on you.  God just needs you to open your heart and mind to him, allow God in, to change the course of your life.   Life is Good, let God show you how Good it can be!

O LORD, Deliver My Life
2 Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am languishing; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are troubled. 3My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O LORD—how long? 4Turn, O LORD, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love.

In You Do I Take Refuge
PSALM 7 O LORD my God, in you do I take refuge; save me from all my pursuers and deliver me, 2 lest like a lion they tear my soul apart, rending it in pieces, with none to deliver.

10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.

TRUST IN THE LORD - OPEN YOUR HEART - FEEL HIS LOVE - YOU WILL SEE BETTER DAYS.
